About Amanda & Shivatree Yoga

Amanda is based on the Big Island of Hawaii, which is a unique location identified by the dynamic contrast between its landscapes (from desert to snow and from ocean to lush rainforest!) and known for its healing energy. Amanda has an intuitive, down-to-earth approach to teaching, practicing, counseling, and exemplifying yoga through her lifestyle and is known for her ability to establish a strong community.


A flower bud neither has to be pried apart nor taught to blossom, when it is properly nourished by the elements of nature it will gradually unfold through stages into its own beauty and at its own pace. We too benefit when we align ourselves to nature’s inherent intelligence rather than trying to force ourselves into being or doing something that conflicts with our nature or current state of being.


Amanda will be offering monthly workshops on Oahu, and regularly at Yoga Centered Studio & Boutique in Hilo. Workshop topics range from alignment to yoga nidra and everything in-between!
