About Amanda & Shivatree Yoga

Amanda is based on the Big Island of Hawaii, which is a unique location identified by the dynamic contrast between its landscapes (from desert to snow and from ocean to lush rainforest!) and known for its healing energy. Amanda has an intuitive, down-to-earth approach to teaching, practicing, counseling, and exemplifying yoga through her lifestyle and is known for her ability to establish a strong community.


Ayurveda is a complete approach to mind-body health through daily and seasonal self-care rituals. This 5,000 year old science follows three main principles: 1. Like increases like. 2. Opposites bring balance. 3. The further you stray from nature, the more likely disease is to arise.


Amanda will be offering monthly workshops on Oahu, and regularly at Yoga Centered Studio & Boutique in Hilo. Workshop topics range from alignment to yoga nidra and everything in-between!


Shivatree Yoga Retreats offer perfect opportunities to explore the full realm of yoga: asana, pranayama, mantra, and meditation, and to then bridge the gap between your practice and your life for greater harmony, mindfulness, and contentment.
